Deeside Water Launches Their BRAND NEW Sister Company – Fuaraìn Skincare

Inspired by Scottish Gaelic for the word, ‘spring,’ – Fuaraìn’s BRAND NEW ‘Super Active Moisture Cream,’ is a rich, hydrating, and beautifully luxurious formula, – that uses the benefits of clinically tested Deeside Mineral Water at its core.

Developed in consultation with leading Beauty Industry Expert, Sarah Clark-Martin (who formerly worked at Boots Global Brands), and Scotland’s longest practising medical herbalist Brian Lamb, Fuaraìn Skincare uses “hydrophilic” ingredients.

Fuaraìn’s ‘Super Active Moisture Cream’ rejuvenates and revitalises skin for a beautifully glowing, radiant complexion, with lines appearing softened, and skin feeling replenished, restored, and hydrated: an ideal addition for normal to dehydrated, and sensitive skin types.

Fragrance free, vegan friendly, cruelty-free, and with environmentally-friendly packaging, the cream has been successfully tested in a clinical trial, with results showing an increased skin hydration by 47.8% when tested 4 hours after application.

Fuarain was found to significantly increase skin hydration after a single application, and to have a 24 hour moisturised effect.

Fuarain was birthed by its mother brand, Deeside Mineral Water, which was launched in 1996 by Martin Simpson and his father George, and has since been clinically proven to increase cell hydration, and possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which are beneficial for skin conditions.

Heather extract (Calluna Vulgaris): a medicinal plant with skin soothing benefits. Traditionally, the flowers have been used for their anti-inflammatory and antiseptic benefits.

And Horsetail extract (Equisetum Arvense): used as a powerful healing herb for many years. It contains high levels of silica which supports collagen production and elastin in the skin, helping to develop and maintain healthy connective tissues. Something of a power ingredient, it is also an effective antioxidant.

Co-founders Martin Simpson of The Deeside Water Company and Sarah Clark-Martin, a leading Beauty Industry Expert, first met over 10 years ago when Martin was promoting Deeside Mineral Water as an active ingredient in skincare.

Martin re-approached Sarah in 2018 to help develop the skincare range, based on the water, as Martin had a gut feeling, and extensive evidence that Deeside Mineral Water could become the basis for an exciting and unique new skincare range.
