Project Lip: The Vegan, Natural Alternative To Lip Fillers

Project Lip‘s range include(s): coloured balms, hydrating lip masks, lip scrub, coloured glosses, and their best-selling ‘Scrub, Plump + Gloss Kit.’

The range is cruelty-free, gender-inclusive, and vegan. Their unique, innovative liquid-formulation combines extreme lip-plumping active ingredients (which instantly defines your lips for the ultimate shimmering pout), with collagen-boosting ingredients.

The products are best sellers, and they’ll leave your lips plumper and more nourished (especially if used every day for 28 days.)

Project Lip’s revolutionary new high-shine gloss formula creates a cushiony, smooth, non-sticky finish, with long term benefits: infused with Vitamin E, the innovative gloss delivers a tingling sensation as it volumizes, hydrates, and stimulates the lips. Working closely with a cosmetic scientist for three years, the unique formulation works on both natural, and surgically-enhanced lips.

With tougher regulations (and the rise in ‘botched lip fillers’), consumers are now looking for an alternative, safer way to plump their pouts, without the use of surgery.

Project Lip stormed onto the beauty scene after creating the first-ever Matte Lip Plumping Primer. The collection now bolsters lip kits and coloured balms. A best seller online for achieving instant and long-lasting lip plumping results, their celebrity fans include: Lottie Tomlinson, Jacqueline Jossa, Alexandra Cane, Ferne McCann, Vicky Pattison, Olivia Buckland, Lauren Pope, Tanya Bardsley, and Kate Wright.

The brand was Founded in 2017, in Manchester by Joy Howieson. Initially, Joy started out as a make-up artist on the MAC counter in Manchester’s Selfridges. And it was there that she noticed the demand for fuller lips, using makeup, instead of surgical procedures.

But it was a near-death experience four years ago that tipped her over the edge: Joy was rushed to hospital after a long-haul flight back from Australia, when she unknowingly developed a pulmonary embolism. When she resumed her MUA teaching role the same day, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where it was diagnosed.

This changed her life forever, and this is why she decided to use all of her savings to fund the project, and to bring her idea to life. From there, the brand was developed with multi-use products to naturally plump lips and create proven results.

Joy Howieson said: “At Project Lip, we pride ourselves on creating 100% natural products which delivers a safer way to plump our lips. We champion the importance of lip care, and lip gloss has made a huge comeback to the beauty market, so we’re excited about the quality, and result of this product on real people.”

Since launching, the brand now stocked in various high profile global e-tailers, including Pretty Little Thing, Look Fantastic, Beauty Bay in the UK, and REVOLVE, URBAN OUTFITTERS, and FashionNova in the US.
