Little Green Paper Shop: Sustainable, Plantable Stationery.

Little Green Paper Shop is an eco-friendly business that’s based in Cheshire, which specializes in the production of seed paper, and plantable stationery items.

Launched just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Little Green Paper Shop’s products include seed paper and plantable stationery, including greeting cards, wedding invitations, gift tags, and more. Customers can plant and grow beautiful flowers and herbs, and foster sustainability, and environmental consciousness.

Initially, the brand was established as ‘Little Green Wedding,’ but due to the pandemic’s impact on the wedding industry, the company swiftly pivoted to other stationery items, instead.

Ana Cantu, the brand’s founder (and a trained product designer) shared her inspiration behind the brand: “I had worked in the wedding industry for a while, and I noticed a huge amount of waste that single-use products were creating.”

“With a growing trend of eco-focused weddings, I thought ‘there must be another route.’ When we extrapolated this across other business industries, the amount of waste was even more significant. Being able to alter even 1% of this waste was so important,” added Ana.

Ana’s business was recently honored with the Cheshire Start Up of the Year award, which acknowledged the company’s outstanding growth, innovation, and contribution to the local business community.
